A well-established Construction Company in Delaware is looking for CDL Class B Drivers for driving a Dump Truck. Multiple years experience is required for this position to be considered to join our fleet of Dump Trucks.

Overview
Primary duty of position includes but is not limited to: the safe loading, unloading and delivery of equipment to company sites within Delaware and surrounding states.
Responsibilities
- Doing daily safety checks on trucks and equipment
- Reporting to dispatch for delivery/pick-up assignments
- Courteously delivering material to location / job site
- Deliver and pickup material in a safe and timely manner
- Check equipment fuel, fluid levels and proper operations before loading
- Incident reports are to be filled out completely and legibly and signed by proper person(s)
- Demonstrate the safe and correct operation of equipment at the time of delivery.
- Notify shop foreman of damaged equipment.
- Contact Shop Foreman after each delivery.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment to present a clean and professional appearance..
- Storage of equipment and vehicles in appropriate manner when not in use to prevent property damage.
- Complete any and all special assignments or project from Shop Foreman in a timely manner
- Safety
- Maintain equipment to meet DOT inspection criteria
- Follow DOT laws regarding the loading and hauling of equipment
- Secure all unused chains and binders when not in use
- Drive with lights on
- Actively participate in safety meetings
- Don’t violate safety policies and rules
- No involvement in an accident that is caused by a violation of defensive driving principles resulting in property damage over $100 per year.
Qualifications
- Knowledge, skills and abilities typically required through a high school education with some technical training
- Minimum of a Class B CDL required
- Must have the ability to drive a manual transmission
- Minimum 2 years hauling experience driving a Dump Truck vehicle.
- Familiarity with Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania would be helpful as well as the ability to read and understand maps of the city and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
- Product Knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have a clear driving record'
