Form of workPool and Spa Depot is interviewing candidates for the position of Dump Truck Driver to work from our company headquarters in LaVergne, Tennnessee!
The Driver will be responsible for delivering products and stock to our customers, other retail locations and warehouses in an accurate and timely manner. Drivers will also move equipment and machines as needed.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Load and unload machines and equipment on trailers.
- Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly.
- Observes all traffic laws and speed limits.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Interacts with customers in a professional manner.
- Returns required documentation to appropriate company official.
- Maintains a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Unloads vehicle after finishing delivery runs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Observes no smoking in the company vehicle
- Accurately maintain driver's logs
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years related experience or equivalent
- Must have a valid Class A CDL driver's license
- Semi-truck is experience highly preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage priorities
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
