Hamburg Gaming, managed by Delaware North is at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York., near Buffalo. The property features 940 gaming machines on the main gaming floor and an outdoor gaming patio.
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of slot machines, addressing issues such as jams, tilts, and ticket paper replenishment
- Document machine malfunctions, coordinating adjustments, and minor repairs as needed, while conducting regular walkarounds to ensure compliance with state gaming regulations
- Supervise jackpot payouts, ensuring adherence to company and state gaming procedures, and oversee authorization while investigating and resolving guest issues
- Manage the slot service technician team by arranging schedules, conducting troubleshooting, and coordinating vendor repairs as necessary
- Oversee team member hiring, training, development, and performance reviews, while working collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient and effective overall operations
- High school diploma required and must be 18 years of age
- Not a set schedule: Open availability including nights, holidays and weekends preferred.
- A New York State issued ID is required for acquiring a gaming license; must be eligible for licensing by NYS Gaming Commission.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisor experience required, and a minimum of 3 years of Floor Attendant or related experience is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
- Strong knowledge of slot machines and gaming regulations preferred
- Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of shift
- Manual dexterity to handle machine repairs
- Exposure to secondhand smoke
- Ability to carry up to 70 pounds
