DTC Launch Manager

Work Mode: Remote

Opportunity

The Sr. Project Leader- Deployment,Drop Ship Operations will setup, and enabled Kohler's Shower Doors business to direct to consumer(DTC) model. Following successful implementation, you will be dedicated tosupporting other DTC product category expansion based on business need and buildstandardization of workflows within Supply Chain for onboarding new customersand new product lines for Drop Ship.


The Sr. Project Leader will develop a step-approachplan for capacity expansion and support/build relationship with onsiteWarehouse leads to implement Drop Ship program. Manage and implement turn-aroundtime (order receipt to shipment-readiness) of 3 business days at maturity. Developrequirements and KPIs for program like shipping cadence, final ship point,carrier consolidation, and cost to serve calculation for product pricing.
Key Deliverables:

  • Analyze existing capabilities & capacity thresholds at Union City, TN for LTL dropship of shower doors (IT/packaging/operations/warehousing/transportation/cost-to-serve/collect vs. prepaid/etc..)
  • Assess the need for 3rd party consulting or execution needs.
  • Develop a step-growth plan for capacity expansion.
  • Kick-off Sales Enablement IT projects for customers that are in que (Build.com, FEI, Wayfair, Amazon, and Menards)
  • Secure funding and resources to execute the plan through new Authorized Corporate Transactions (ACTs)
  • Develop a plan and set execution in motion for dropship capacity expansion from 1K units annually in 2023 to 70K units annually by 2027.

Skills/Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in Engineering/Operations/Distribution/Fulfillment, Program Management, and/or Logistics
  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or equivalent
  • PMPor CAPM certification preferred 
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP Order-to-Case Process; Drop Ship execution experience is a plus.
  • Ability to influence supply chain teams to take pro-active action to manage risks and recommend operations changes to address chronic process and system issues.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, drive change, and lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A willingness to partner across all dimensions of Kohler Co. to influence, drive, and deliver change.
  • Strong business acumen. Experience working with P&L data to drive bottom-line contributions.
  • Attention to details, work organized, effectively prioritizes, and performs multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication within multiple level of organization
  • Ability to travel up to 30%-50% of role. Associate will need to be onsite at Union City (or DTC warehouse/ship location if different) as needed for project milestones/execution.

The salary range for this position is $85,650 - $108,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.  Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
