Title: DSP Engineer
Duration: Project Based Vendor
Location: Onsite Fremont, CA or other sites in the Bay Area.

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week
Role:
- Work with the team to help design, set, and run practical experiments on USS.
- Collaborate with internal and external research, design, and engineering teams to develop Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for sensor systems that advance the state-of-the-art.
Skills:
- 10+ years in DSP, signal processing, ADAS, Ultrasonic sensors (USS) or similar industrial sensors experience is a must.
- Experience with SPI driver development.
- Experience with embedded systems, hardware and coding.
- Experience with signal processing and ML - DSP side
- Experience with implementation and design aspect.
- Some algorithm design experience.
- Experience writing good clean code.
- Familiar with latest ML techniques, application specific testing (system calibration for vehicle applications).
- Good understanding of airborne ultrasonic sensor (USS) ranging or industrial ultrasound applications.
- Strong DSP engineering background with hands-on design, implementation and testing experience.
- Work with the engineering team to design and implement the USS echo signal processing pipeline.
- Experience developing SPI drivers to interface with and control USS ASICs such as Elmos.
- Experience implementing USS echo signal processing algorithms for object localization and height classification using either conventional methods or machine learning techniques.
- Experience with USS system calibration for vehicle-specific or similar scenarios in order to meet object localization KPIs.
Education: BSCSE/BSEE or related.
