A family located in the Macungie area is seeking a seasoned, Support Service Professional to provide 2:1 Enhanced Care Services for their son with Autism. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a degree in psychology, education, or RBT. The family is seeking an energetic and compassionate Support Staff to provide in home and community habilitation services. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and have experience in working with Non-Verbal Individuals with Autism, positive behavior approaches with redirecting aggressive behavior, and the ability to work collaboratively with another SSP. Knowledge with supporting people with nonverbal communication and experience with ACC communication devices is preferred. The candidate will assist the young man in promoting his independence, regulating his behaviors, and improving upon his communication skills. Description of Duties:
- Assist with ADL’s as needed
- Ensure health and safety needs are met at home and in the community
- Provide transportation and support to participate in community events and attend activities
- Redirect challenging and aggressive behavior
- Communicate with guardian/surrogate on an ongoing basis
- Complete and document goals as defined in ISP; documentation is completed through the EVV system from the Support Staff’s cell phone
Qualification / Requirements: *candidate must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree In Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology or Registered Behavior Technician, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, or NADD Certification in one of the following: NADD Competency Based Clinical Certification, Dual Diagnosis Certification
- Must have a valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of DSP, SSP, Behavior Technician or Behavior Specialist experience preferred
- Spectrum Disorder preferred
- Willing to Participate in Background Check
- Experience with following behavior plans
- Must be dependable, and punctual

Current Scheduling Needs:
Flexible Scheduling Monday – Friday; day shift, flexibility with scheduling, to be discussed at the time of interview
Staff will not be employed by Keystone Independent Live, rather by Agency With Choice Lehigh County
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
