Immediate Commitment Solutions with FedEx Ground has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Delivery Drivers in Augusta, GA. Our Delivery Drivers will be operating sprinter vans, box trucks, step vans in Urban, rural and suburban locations.

You will be operating out of the FedEx terminal at 2002 International BLVD, Augusta, GA 30906. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work as part of a team! Pay: $650 - $780/ week

Schedule: 5-6 days a week with mandatory weekend availability!

Hours: 10-12 hours per day

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections
• Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself
• Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately
• Scanning and logging packages

Requirements:

• Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
• Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs
• Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)

Delivery Driver

Duties:

- Safely operate a tractor-trailer or delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Note: Experience with courier services, warehouse operations, and using pallet jacks is a plus.
