Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Demand and Supply Management is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Lexus Ordering Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Lexus Area Office in all aspects of the vehicle ordering process for their Lexus series. The role will focus on all touchpoints for Lexus vehicle demand, including the Annual Plan activities, Kento forecasting, scenario generation for sales planning, production requests, and Getsudo activities.
Reporting to the Lexus Ordering Manager, the person in this role will support the Demand and Supply Management objective to achieve the right vehicle, at the right place and the right time.
What you’ll be doing
Manage monthly vehicle ordering operations for assigned vehicles throughout the vehicle ordering cycle, including field communication, preliminary demand forecasting, guide negotiations with manufacturing, and meeting all guides in the final production order. Utilize Excel, Power BI and Tableau tools for analysis and decision support.
Develop impact analysis and scenario planning for your series ensuring we have the right vehicles, in the right place, and the right time.
Creating new model year tables for standard specs, colors, and option packages. Lead the overall process and related activities with Product Planning and Strategy, Lexus Product Marketing, Lexus Sales Division, and Pricing. Establish and implement best practices throughout the process to ensure the timely delivery of completed tables to area offices for vehicle ordering.
Manage annual plan activities for your series, working cross functionally with Sales, Lexus Product Marketing, and Product Planning and Strategy. Includes mix forecasting, C & D table development and Area/Country Vehicle Allocation for assigned series.
Embraces a consultative role and provides direction to the area offices on the optimal order mix.
What you bring
Effective communication skills in cross functional setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Vlookups, pivot tables and formulas in Excel
Project management experience, including developing and tracking both short and long-term projects
Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
What you may bring
Knowledge of Toyota’s vehicle systems: TOMS, VDW, NVS
Proficient in A3 Development
Experience in PowerBI or Tableau
Automotive Retail/Field Experience
Experience working in supply chain / logistics role in a manufacturing environment
