The DSARP Receptionist has primary responsibility for clerical duties involved with coordinating client care at the site. These duties include but are not limited to responding to communications via email/phone, assisting clients schedule evaluations and complete forms, collecting all monies associated with DSARP. In addition to greeting clients/visitors, answering phones, directing visitors/clients to the appropriate areas and performing routine clerical duties. It is also the responsibility of this position to model and maintain high professional conduct and standards.
As a DSARP Receptionist you will:
  • Assure telephone is answered in a timely manner and all messages are relied to the appropriate department or person.
  • Check and prepare reminder calls or correspondences for clients.
  • File and retrieve all documentation needed to stay in compliance with DE state and federal regulations.
  • Obtain client demographics, authorization release and verifying insurance information at each visit.
  • Obtain necessary client information to meet current Federal guidelines and insurance use guidelines for electronic medical records.
  • Enter and scan pertinent client information into EMR including client authorizations, recent labs delivered etc.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and inputting recall notices into EMR as needed
  • Identify and resolve minor client billing complaints
  • Obtain information sheet on new clients and prepares charts, including initiating new charts or retrieving existing charts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Program Manager

Client Contact and Responsibilities:
The DSARP Receptionist maintains daily contact with clients providing assistance to BCCS staff. High level of contact requiring diplomacy, pleasant personality/demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications for this position are:
  • REQUIRED: High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • PREFERRED: Associate degree
  • REQUIRED: 1 year in office environment, 3 years related experience, some knowledge of Alcohol/Drug abuse.

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday 7:00a-3:00 PM
