Drywall Hanger / Finisher
Duties:
- Install drywall panels to walls and ceilings according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit specific areas
- Hang drywall panels using screws or nails, ensuring proper alignment and spacing
- Apply joint compound to seams and smooth out any imperfections
- Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth and even texture
- Repair or replace damaged drywall as needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and painters, to complete projects
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Drywall Hanger or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Familiarity with water damage restoration procedures is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications accurately
- Proficiency in caulking, door hanging, stucco application, flooring installation, and frame carpentry is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
