Drywall Finisher

Duties:

- Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing by patching, sanding, and smoothing imperfections
- Apply drywall compound to seams, corners, and nail heads to create a smooth and seamless surface
- Use trowels, brushes, and other tools to apply and spread compound evenly
- Sand and buff drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth and uniform finish
- Repair damaged or cracked drywall by replacing or patching sections as needed
- Install corner beads and tape joints for added strength and durability
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

Skills:

- Proficient in drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry principles and practices
- Experience with tile laying and metal stud framing
- Familiarity with the restoration industry and construction painting
- Basic understanding of construction plumbing and door hanging
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time

Pay: $25.33 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
