Drywall Estimator

Develops cost estimates on all projects as required by clients documents.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
• Executes take-offs of construction documents.
• Inputs take-offs into a bid form or spreadsheet
• Stays informed of current material pricing. Obtains pricing for any specialty materials
• Calculates and documents all material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs included in each estimate.
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, UL listings, government requirements, etc.
• Meets prescribed bid due dates
• Responds to bid invitations
• Documents and revises bids as required by RFI's, CB's, etc?
• Clearly documents inclusions/exclusiond & options on bids
• Attends scope review meetings at required.
• Communicates with other divisions as required.
• Communicates with customers
• Bid follow up as required/directed
• Attends departmental meetings as required.
