YOUR ROLE AS A DRY BLEND PRODUCTION

As a Blending and Compounding team member at PDM Distribution Services, your primary responsibility will be to weigh and blend a variety of non-hazardous dry and liquid ingredients in tanks to create final products. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to work on our production line, filling these products into containers. Operating a forklift to move ingredients and finished products will be required as needed. Ensuring the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency in production is crucial to this role. You will be expected to follow all Standard Operating Procedures closely, demonstrating attention to detail and precision in your work.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

To be successful in the Blending and Compounding position at PDM Distribution Services, you will need to possess a range of essential skills. Previous experience in ingredient blending and/or production line operations is a plus, as it will provide you with a solid foundation for this role. Proficiency in forklift driving, including experience with both electric sit-down and pallet jacks, is required. Having a general mechanical aptitude will be advantageous in understanding and troubleshooting equipment as needed. You should have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and possess good general math skills to accurately measure and blend ingredients.

Clear penmanship is important to maintain precise records and ensure accurate labeling of products. Moreover, being able to work overtime as needed demonstrates your flexibility and commitment to meeting production demands. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Previous Ingredient Blending and/or Production Line Experience a plus
• Forklift Driving (Electric sit down and pallet jacks)
• General Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Clear Penmanship
• Work Overtime as Needed
