As a technician, you will be responsible for providing drug and alcohol screenings to participants involved in the justice system and administrative and technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Responsibilities:

- Providing drug and alcohol screenings to participants involved in the justice system.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Conduct research and gather information to support ongoing projects
- Assist with legal administrative tasks, including preparing legal documents and maintaining case files
- Handle payments and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in data entry and comfortable working with various computer programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Full job description

Provides drug and alcohol screening to participants involved in the justice system.

No experience is necessary. You will be trained to conduct collections per laboratory policies and federal guidelines. Specimens are same sex directly observed collections. This includes the direct observation of clients providing urinalysis specimens.

We are currently seeking males for this position as collections are observed by same sex staff.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 6:00am to 9:00am. The current openings will have set working days and times. There is a potential for this to lead to more hours per week.

What we need from you:

Exceptional and consistent customer service. This is the backbone of this agency.

Strong work ethic. We are a small agency and need to be able to count on you to be at work when you are scheduled and to work while you are at work.

You will be working with a variety of participants including those experiencing court involvement. If you feel you cannot work with this population and maintain a high level of customer service and human kindness, do not apply.

Self-motivated. When you see something that needs to be done, do you do it or do you have to be told? If you have to be told, please do not apply.

Display attention to detail. This is imperative when dealing with chain of custody and court admissible documents. You could be called to testify. If you do not care about your work product or feel it is someone else's responsibility, do not apply.

Punctuality and dependability are a must.

Ability and willingness to follow direction and company policy.

Again - Be forthcoming with scheduling needs. This is a small agency, and everyone's consistent presence is necessary to fulfill daily work demands.

May spend up to 2 to 3 hours at a time, daily, on your feet.

Must be able to operate basic Windows software systems and basic office equipment, phone, copier, scanner.
