Job Summary

Position requires a self-driven, collaborative, and organized professional able to flourish in fast paced environment. Must be results oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency; must own the business and the results. Should be able to independently organize and prioritize workload. Experience in Dropship Vendor Management and Marketplace Platforms is preferred.

The Dropship Specialist supports the Merchandise Manager by optimizing Sales and Profitability in the Dropship Buy Type by driving excellence in operational execution, working with brands to manage the Dropship assortment, and collaborating with Buyers to selectively place inventory buys in key items.

Job Responsibilities

• In collaboration with Merchandise Manager, is accountable for Annual Sales plan for Dropship Buy type. Takes corrective action in season.
• Provides forecasts and recaps to merchandise manager as needed.
• Ensures Dropship Buys are appropriately reflected on Assortment plans.
• Optimizes Topline and Profit by consistently monitoring Default price and Contribution.
• Drives Speed to Site through timely approval of new SKUs, appropriate flagging and assisting in obtaining images as needed.
• Builds relationships with Sales Reps, Sales Management, Operations Management and Customer Service at Brands that benefits the company.
• Owns New Brand set up, On-boarding & Launch process, including operational aspects of Dropship brands: EDI testing, monitoring of feeds, assortment & image downloads
• Owns on-time shipping of Dropship Brands, monitoring daily and proactively communicating with Brands to ensure order fulfillment SLAs meet Customers’ expectations.
• Monitors Dropship Cancelations daily. Proactively Communicates with Brands and Buyers to reduce cancelation rate.
• Daily monitors Back order and Incomplete Dropship order reports and takes immediate corrective action.
• Is company expert on SPS and Dropship execution, Collaborates with IT to solve issues and streamline processes reducing manually intervention.
• Documents SOPs and creates Training Documents for job duties, trains Merchant Assistants as Backups.
• Collaborates effectively across teams including Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and IT.
• Fearless Communicator, comfortable with phone and in person conversations as well as email. Conducts timely follow up ensuring issues are addressed and resolved.
• Takes the initiative to solve Problems.
• Builds relationships in the Company, seeks out internal help independently.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency within Microsoft Excel.
• Experience required in SPS and DROPSHIP VENDOR MANAGEMENT.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, merchandising or a related discipline. In lieu of degree, experience in SPS and dropship vendor management may be used.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in merchandising, vendor management, buying, financial analysis and or product management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Experience and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially current versions of Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as retail math.
• Proven accountability and ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SPS, EDI, Tableau, Acumatica, and ERP systems preferred.
