Driver/Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Driver/Warehouse individual to join our team, who is ready to take on the challenge of delivering restaurant equipment. This role not only involves safe transportation of goods to their designated locations but also requires participation in warehouse operations related to the handling and inventory management of restaurant equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of organization, punctuality, and professionalism. Duties:

· Safely operate company vehicles to transport restaurant equipment to various locations.

· Load and unload equipment from vehicles with attention to safety and damage prevention.

· Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory management using computer systems, organizing goods for dispatch, and ensuring the warehouse is organized.

· Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries, while optimizing delivery routes using computer software.

· Maintain accurate electronic records of deliveries, inventory movements, and customer interactions.

· Perform routine vehicle inspections and adhere to maintenance schedules.

· Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members through digital channels and in person.

Requirements:

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. No CDL required.

· Proven experience as a Driver, with a strong preference for those who have experience in equipment or heavy item deliveries.

· Basic to intermediate computer skills for inventory management, route planning, and record-keeping.

· Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, with the ability to navigate efficiently.

· Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices, especially related to equipment handling.

· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

· Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as needed.

· Motivated individual with a clear path for professional growth and advancement.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
