Driver/Food Lab Aide-Entry Level

Since 1967, Deibel Labs has operated several private food testing facility providing services in both food Microbiology and Chemistry testing. We play an integral role in food and product safety for industry-leading producers, as well as family run operations much like our own.

Our lab location in Manhattan, KS is hiring Full Time Lab Aide/Driver.

Compensation: Starting hourly rates at $16 - $18; DOE, plus a competitive benefits package.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9am -5:30pm (Driving Portion of position must have flexible schedule)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Entry Level Position: We Are Happy to Train
• Driver to pick up samples.
• Assists with sample login; labeling plates, & other laboratories duties as assigned.
• Sanitation of laboratory as needed.
• Maintenance duties as required by Lab Manager
• Assisting with dishwashing/media as needed.
• 5 Years Clean Driving Record.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 0-1 Years Work Experience.
• Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 10lbs with each hand and pick up to 50lbs.
• Must have Good Documentation Practices.
• Must work occasional holidays.
• Must be willing to have a flexible schedule for days that require overtime.
• Must be over 25 due to insurance purpose.
