Driver Mechanic - Multiple Locations - MUST HAVE CDL!

$1000 Signing Bonus - Eligible after 60 days

*This CDL Driver position is a heavy travel job that requires being away from home for a minimum of 3-4 months at a time living out of hotels* Company paid travel.

HEAVY TRAVEL POSITION!

SUMMARY OF POSITION

∙ The CDL Driver must be able to operate test vehicle/detector car on and off railroad tracks and in all road conditions.

∙ The CDL Driver has to be able to perform vehicle inspections and equipment set-up.

∙ The CDL Driver has to service/maintain/repair the vehicle and detector carriage under the vehicle.

∙ The CDL Driver must be able to communicate verbally clearly and concisely to pilot and crew member in order to obtain instructions, safety rules, determine traffic patterns, and announce obstructions on the rail.

∙ Required to be trained in Road Worker Safety once a year.

The Driver position with Sperry Rail is a heavy travel position!

Travel is 85-100%.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Education: The CDL Driver has to have a High School Diploma or GED.

· The Driver has to have a Valid CDL class A or B with brake endorsement

· The CDL Driver has to have 2 year of commercial driving experience

WORKING CONDITIONS:

∙ All work to be completed in field. Weather conditions may be extreme.

∙ Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Report any safety violations or fault conditions to supervisor.
