Drivers & Attendants Wanted for Non-Emergency Medical Transport (islandwide)

$17-25/hour depending on type of transport and degree of difficulty. Bonuses, incentives, and pay differentials available.

Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Prior medical experience and/or transportation experience of disabled persons preferred.

Requirements:
*Must be at least 21 years of age
*Pre-employment drug screening
*Pre-employment criminal background check (No active criminal cases or felony charges)
*Pre-employment physical exam
*Traffic Abstract (No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years)
*Valid driver’s license
*GE License *CPR Certification *First Aid Certification

Job Duties:
*Safe assistance and transportation of clients
*Physically operate and/or lift transport equipment (wheelchair ramp, wheelchair, gurney, transfer slide board)
*Extended periods of sitting, intermittent bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling of 50lb or more
*Daily safety check of vehicle
*Daily cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicle
