Primary Purpose: As a Non-DOT Driver, your primary purpose is to load and transport materials to job sites and safely unload them by hand. Your role is crucial to ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials to support various construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Always prioritize safety, working in a manner that ensures the well-being of yourself and others.
- Quality Control: Safely load materials and rigorously check for product defects or quality issues before transport.
- Job Site Delivery: Deliver materials to job sites and unload them in a safe and organized fashion, contributing to an efficient workflow.
- Paperwork Accountability: Be responsible for all paperwork, keeping it clean, dry, and neatly organized.
- Continuous Learning: Show dedication to expanding your knowledge base and improving your skills.
- Team Support: Offer support to crew members and foremen to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers and sub-contractors in a friendly and helpful manner, representing the company positively.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following attributes and qualifications:

- Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strongly Preferred:
- Construction Knowledge: Possess general knowledge of construction processes and practices.
- Forklift Certification: Although not mandatory, having forklift certification is strongly preferred. Training and testing can be provided.
