Job description

Are you and/or someone you know looking for extra weekly income? We are Looking for safe drivers and Monitor Teams to drive Special Needs Students to and from home in the Austin, TX area (or very nearby). Must be available mornings and/or afternoons, Monday-Friday. Mid-day is usually free of routes. Driver pay starts at $20-$35 per hour and monitors are paid a flat fee for each route. (Pay can vary/increase based on number of routes and distance driven.) Easy, Fun and rewarding. Weekly Pay. Needs to be a team player, have a positive attitude, and flexibility to assist kids and families in their community. May require some commuting (i.e, 15-20 mins to get to the initial route).

If you have 10 to 20 hours per week to do something meaningful and profitable, this paid independent contractor job may be for you. We’re a mission-driven company looking for caring individuals who enjoy working with children in their local area. Our established company provides dedicated safe and comfortable transportation for special children to and from school (in the morning and afternoons). We're looking for motivated drivers, monitors, and teams (monitors must be 18 or older).

Driver's Pay begins at $32 per trip, up to 16-miles per trip. Must use personally owned state-registered 4-door car, SUV or van, preferably not older than 10 years and be able to complete on-boarding (online) requirements determined by the local school districts. Must have a smart phone. Drivers easily earn an extra $300 to $900 per week on a very part-time basis (some may earn more) as an independent contractor with us. Drive your own 4-door car, van or SUV. Additional training and/or licensing may be required based on the local school district requirements and/or local regulations. We do reimburse for those costs to our drivers, after 2-3 weeks of successful driving.

Teams (Drivers and Monitors) are also encouraged to apply and can make even more money while working together with a friend or family member. (Active drivers get credit for referring their friends or family upon successful completion of the web-based on-boarding process, and their first two weeks of driving routes.) Please let you’re your interviewer know that you may have someone to review once contacted. Must be 21 years old or older. We require attendance of a driver orientation before you can be assigned routes. You will be accepting routes offered by the local school districts, so your schedule will be based on the school calendar.

There is a very high demand for these valuable services in most school districts in the local area. Come help our local students and their families with their transportation needs, and earn a nice extra weekly paycheck. Weekly morning and afternoon routes available for drivers’ to review and be considered for approval upon successful completion of the web-based on-boarding process (Includes professional online certification, background check and in person drug screening at a local lab), which typically takes 1-2 weeks after your initial job acceptance email is sent. Drivers must be self-motivated and able to complete the online on-boarding and training programs, as well as a background check and drug test (some districts require finger printing). Must speak English, bi-lingual is very helpful for some routes. You will be using a driver's phone app for the route work upon placement.

Every driver will start part-time, but full-time will be available for motivated drivers with good records who are team players. This can happen quickly in some instances. This is a great opportunity for independent contractors, semi-retirees and service-oriented individuals who desire to make a positive difference in their community while generating a great hourly rate of pay. Please note that the online on-boarding process may take 1-2 weeks, depending on your local school districts, so time is of the essence for those who want these routes asap.
