What You'll Do as a Driver License Station Supervisor:
Ohio Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Driver Exam Services/District 6 Alum Creek
Report in location: 1583 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, 43209
Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Directly supervises lower ranking examiners &/or supports personnel at a district level; Schedules, trains & evaluates employees assigned to the district; Oversees the daily operations of the facilities; Conducts written, oral & over the road license testing; Investigates complaints & documents facts relating to said complaints & issues discipline; Interacts with the public on a daily basis as the representative of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Reviews &/or prepares required management reports including daily, weekly, & monthly activity reports, payroll audits; Prepares requisitions for station supplies & equipment; Evaluates test routes on a regular basis & rides along with examiners to ensure uniformity of testing; Prepares crash reports including workers compensation forms when applicable; Investigates & reports violations of work rules & procedures to the appropriate supervisor; Performs all duties of subordinate Driver License examiners as assigned.

36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in laws & signs applicable for operation of motorized vehicles, to include commercial vehicles & Bureau of Motor Vehicles' policies & procedures governing testing for & issuance of Driver Licenses & commercial vehicle licenses; 1 yr. exp. in supervisory principles & techniques or providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver License Examiner 2 (Lead Worker), 24333; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as CDL Field Representative 24332; 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Driver Examination Field Representative 24334; 12 mos. exp. in providing work direction & training to other employees; valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
