The job involves operating a straight truck. The role is part of a union, with top-notch health insurance benefits. Beginning rate is $25.00/ hour.
Here's What You'll Get To Do

• Transporting glass shipments to local customers using a company-assigned rack truck.
• Frequent handling of glass products both by hand and with suction cups.
• Glass experience is helpful but not necessary
• Knowledge of the NY tri-state area is a plus

Here's What We're Looking For

• At least 21 years old (necessary to cross state lines)
• Possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence to operate the type of equipment the applicant will be driving
• At least two (2) years of verifiable, incident-free driving experience driving at least a class A or B commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Acceptable motor vehicle record over the last three years and no major traffic violations have occurred on your driving record.
• Occasional overnights may be required.
• An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace. At OBE we have each other's back.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
• Must be able to lift/move up to 75 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with the same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
