Driver Class A Cdl **$2000 Sign On Bonus**

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A) team truck driver to join our over the road transportation team. As a team driver, you will work in tandem with another driver to ensure the safe and efficient transport of day-old chickens to our valued customers. Your primary duties will include adhering to company policies for loading, hauling, and unloading day-old chickens, ensuring biosecurity requirements are followed, and conducting thorough inspections of chicks before delivery. This role also involves unloading empty boxes upon your return to the hatchery. Valid passport for deliveries into Canada!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with your co-driver to transport day-old chickens to various destinations
• in a safe and efficient manner
• Adhere to all company policies for loading, hauling, and unloading day-old chickens
• Conduct thorough inspections of chicks before delivery to ensure their well-being
• Unload empty boxes upon return to the hatchery
• Follow all safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of truck driving experience
• Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A)
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
• Reliable and punctual
• Drug-free
• *Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid passport for deliveries into Canada (an additional $1.50 per hour)

Compensation:

• $24.25 - $31.00 per hour
• 40 - 100 hours per week expected
• $1.25 an hour per diem
• Additional $1.50 per hour on deliveries into Canada
