Form of workJob Objective: Provide transportation service and assist with the responsibilities of the Christmas Effort Program
Essential Functions:
• Provide bell ringer transportation as assigned by Kettle Coordinator
• Check on bell ringers at their assigned bell ringing locations as assigned by Kettle Coordinator
• Deliver and pick up items related to the bell ringing and other Christmas activities
• Being responsible and accountable of the Christmas kettles while transporting bell ringers to and from their assigned locations
• Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous commercial driving experience helpful, but not required
Certifications/Licenses: Valid operator’s license issued by state of residence

Supervisory Responsibility: None
Physical Requirements: Include speaking, hearing and vision ability; manual dexterity; bending, squatting and walking; lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 70 pounds; sitting for extended periods of time; standing for extended periods of time
Travel: Local
Driving: Must have a valid driver’s license from the state of residence, maintain insurance, and meet and maintain “qualified driver” status through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in various weather conditions; evening and weekend work required.
