When working with GCF Enterprises as an independent contractor, we ask you to come with the same grit and determination. The daily task consists of being on a warehouse dock, entering customers personal homes, uninstalling appliances, removing them from the house, bringing in new appliances and installing. Using moving straps and a two-wheel hand cart on the daily to move weighted objects. Moving as a team, we will be in uniform consisting of navy blue, black, and grey clothing. We can not wear NO jogging pants or any athletic wear is permitted. We cannot wear sports teams or bright colors. Our contract requires a clean, professional look.

All employees will work a week in the hole. After that you will be paid on a weekly basis with a daily pay rate. All workers are independent contractors and will complete a W-9 form.

POSITIONS:

HELPER: Helper prepares the truck, keeps the truck in order with all the trash and haul away appliances. The helper will also help the installer remove old appliances from the customers’ houses and bring in new appliances.

INSTALLER: Being an installer will consist of installing washer water hoses, dryer/range gas lines, and refrigerator water lines. As we install these necessary items, we also uninstall the same items on the old appliances we are removing. There are a few restrictions to what we can and cannot remove. We do not work with copper lines, rusted, corroded lines, and extensions. In order to install the new appliances, we only use new hoses and gas lines. We NEVER reuse old accessories.

DRIVER: In order to become a driver you will need a Chauffer's license. Driver will have the responsibility of working with the phone and customers. Being the driver, you will navigate to the properties, take pictures of the addresses, appliances, and connections, and take pictures after every installation or delivery. The driver also will make detailed notes about the delivery.
