The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Driller Assistant to work at our Natural Aggregates Division in Wixom, MI.
The Driller Assistant will collect samples by operating a drilling rig in terrains with environmental conditions that can range from one extreme to another depending on the weather. The Driller Assistant will also perform topographic, bathymetric, and aerial drone surveys along with processing the data in support of the Natural Aggregates Division.

Responsibilities
The Driller Assistant will:
- Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping
- Conduct geologic exploration via drilling
- Survey (aerial, bathymetric, and topographic) multiple locations at various driller operations
- Provide general maintenance and daily inspections of drilling equipment
- Collect samples and maintain technical reports and logs
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications/Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors, tolerate multiple terrain and environmental variations
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Valid Driver's License
