- Enthusiastically represent RIVERSPORT OKCFoundation by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.
- Steer a Dragon Boat safely and responsibly
- Bilge pump boats; pressure wash; dress boats with head, tail, drum, and seat; and boat maintenance as needed.
- Communicate clear paddling instruction and techniques to guests of all skill levels and athletic abilities.
- Follow training program.
- Professional dedication to each team development and cohesiveness.
- Lead outing in a fun and professional manner.
- Assist with regattas and festivals.
- Handle various guest concerns, compliments, and suggestions in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.
- Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be comfortable working on the water
- Knowledge and familiarity with exercise safety guidelines for instruction and equipment (will provide training)
- Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, and the guests.
- Able to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and the functions of the job.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
