Drafting Assistant

This position is for Drafting Assistants in a consulting engineering firm serving industrial clients. You will participate in the design of a wide variety of systems and structures for a range of different industrial processes and industries.

No experience required. We offer training in house.

Requirements:

• Proficient with typical computer programs such as word, excel, pdf programs, file management
• Teamwork mentality and ability to coordinate/consult with coworkers to meet objectives
• Eager to learn, grow, and participate in the success of our company
• Ability to pass skills test on software after two weeks of in-house training
• Favorable scores on a mechanical aptitude test

Preferred Skills:

• Associates of Applied Sciences in drafting
• Lay out and draw orthographic or 3D views of components, assemblies, systems, and buildings
• Ability to check drawings for errors, standards, and completeness
• Working knowledge of one or more: SolidWorks, Inventor, Navisworks, Recap, Access, Project
