Salary:70-80k DOE

Shift: M-F 8-5

A rapidly growing family-owned company that provides annual raises, very long tenures for all employees, a fabulous company culture, who likes to promote from within. A large, highly successful corporation with a small team environment and locations across the country.

Responsibilities:
• Generate and revise assembly, weldment, and component drawings per the master Model layout or instructions.
• Modify standard models to meet customer requirements by increasing or reducing the size of components, the design of minor new components, and verify all elements for fit, form and function.
• Manage budgeted hours and timelines.
• Provide support activities including:
• Load BOMs and drawings into SAP to fill replacement parts orders
• Make drawing corrections.
• Receives project assignment from the Production Engineering Manager and then works directly with the Project Engineer to satisfy application requirements.
• The application of appropriate drafting practices and technical knowledge to the assigned task.
• Design consistency from project to project with regard to appropriate “go-by” selection, and buyout & material specifications.
• Application of consistent design practices that will utilize proven existing equipment designs, buyouts, materials and standard manufacturing methods as well as meeting customer specifications.
• The quality and accuracy of all information (s)he supplies.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical and engineering drafting and design work in 3D CAD, required - Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD a plus.
• Machinery design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and welding practices.
• High school diploma plus course work in engineering design and drafting.
• Engineering Technology Degree a plus
