Job description

The Drafter/CAD Operator will be responsible for drafting complete and accurate drawings as required. The drafter/CAD operator fills in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations.
Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience with electrical or electronic drafting
  2. Experience with computerized drafting applications (AutoCAD), SolidWorks, Inventor, Adobe), digital imaging techniques, and planning and preparing graphic presentations of complex items.
  3. Active Security clearance is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:
  1. Experience with Department of Defense (DOD) or technical illustration specific to US Navy applications.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  3. Solid understanding of DOD or US Navy drafting and digital imaging standards, processes, procedures, and engineering terminology.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED - AA preferred
