In the advanced compact EW solutions business area, we provide next-generation dispenser systems and compact countermeasures to help aircraft answer evolving IR and RF threats. The Drafter position we are seeking to fill requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience in the Mechanical Drafting profession, although it is preferred that the candidate have and associate degree and 2+ years of experience in the Mechanical Drafting profession. This position will require the candidate to be on-site to work in the Greater Nashua NH region. You will be part of a Design & Drafting Community working with the latest CAD Technology and Processes that are always forward planning with Industry professionals to define future of CAD capabilities as well as its support of Model Based Engineering via Model Based Definition. You will also advance your technical skills while performing your assigned responsibilities on development projects and supporting our existing product portfolio.
The individual selected for this position will be Mechanical Drafter who will be required to help in the maintenance and development of our documentation. The duties assigned to this position, while under the guidance of Program and senior design and drafting staff Leadership, include the following:
  • Create detail and assembly drawings utilizing CREO parametric solid models, layouts and sketches requiring strict adherence to design intent, specified dimensions and tolerances, special notes, as well as both company and customer specifications.
  • Arrange optimal number of views to reflect a complete drawing.
  • Incorporate material specifications, heat treating and finishes required into drawing.
  • Generate moderately complex mechanical drawings.
  • Understand and generate parts lists/Bill of materials (BOMs) as they apply to the associated assemblies leveraging the product data manager (PDM).
  • Include all explanatory notes and related information necessary to clarify drawings and provide accurate interpretation.
  • Create drawings and lists in accordance with industry standards ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34 and ASME Y14.5
  • Perform maintenance and revision control of documentation/models.
  • Perform file management using a product data manager system. (DS PLM and PTC Pro/Intralink.
Competent in the use of CREO Parametric. AutoCAD experience also desired.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
It is preferred that the candidate have and associate degree and 2+ years of experience in the Mechanical Drafting profession.
A current Secret clearance is preferred but not necessary.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $53020 - $84810
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
