Drafter - Entry Level

Do you have the desire to learn? Or perhaps take your gamer skills and make some money? Here is your full-time, Entry Level opportunity to work for a company that does rooftop measurements from computerized pictures. The pictures are used by contractors and insurance companies to generate estimates for repairs and replacements.

In this position as an Entry-level Drafter, you will use a specialized computer program to take the aerial photos and transform them into blueprint documents. You will have the opportunity to work in a laid back environment where help is right around the corner, while learning AutoCAD programming.

Drafter Job Duties:

• Converting documents into CAD files from resources such as maps, blueprints, sketches, and customer layout drawings.
• Answering client communication via email
• Assist engineer with report preparation of engineering plans, bid details, and as-built drawing sets.

You will be successful in this position if you are detail oriented, enjoy learning and like to work in a quiet environment.

Drafter Requirements:

• Ability to read measurements
  
• Solid math skills
• Proficient computer skills using programs such as Word and Excel

Shift: Monday- Friday, 8am - 5pm

Pay: $18.00/hour
