Job Description
DOT Heavy Haul Driver - CDL Class A-B
must have experience operating heavy equipment
Determining how much cargo can be transported safely based on factors such as route conditions, weather, and weight limits
Maintaining vehicle maintenance records and submitting them to supervisors
Following traffic laws, maintaining safe driving habits, and sharing road awareness with other motorists
Inspecting trucks before and after each trip, identifying any mechanical issues in need of repair
Operating a crane for heavy lifting operations, using hoisting and rigging equipment, and following safety procedures
Arriving at work sites on time to load or unload cargo, as scheduled by supervisors
Following load plans and safety regulations to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
Reporting any unsafe conditions to supervisors
Operating cranes and other heavy equipment used to move large objects or materials
