DOT Compliance - Internal Audit Coordinator
ABC Supply Co., Inc., the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States, is currently looking for a DOT Internal Audit Specialist to join the team in Beloit, WI.
This position will be responsible for auditing and providing reporting on all regulatory, compliance and hours of service requirements mandated by Federal DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines for vehicles and drivers.
Specific duties may include:

• Reviewing daily logs for accuracy and compliance
• Reviewing and reporting on violations
• Exercising independent judgment and discretion regarding ABC's DOT program requirements, implementation and updates to the field
• Updating and maintaining data base of all drivers and active equipment with accurate information
• Ensuring all drivers have complete and up-to-date Driver Qualification files
• Ensuring DOT Federal and State vehicle inspections, annual reviews and renewals are completed in a timely manner
• Daily monitoring and auditing ABC's performance against the DOT requirements
• Providing excellent customer service for branches
• All other job duties as assigned

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-3 years of experience in DOT compliance, regulations and fleet operations is required
• Degree in logistics, transportation or related field is preferred
• Proven track record of working with safety training and compliance programs
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Effective time management, organizational and prioritization skills
• Must be able to make and implement business decisions with minimal to no supervision
• Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
