The Tampa Funny Bone in Tampa, FL is looking for a new member of the Security Staff to join our team.

About us

The Tampa Improv, books nationally known major comedians each week. We offer a full dinner menu as well as offer two full service bars located on each level of the theater.  The Funny Bone Comedy Club continues to showcase performers well on their way to join the ranks of the it's famous veterans.

General responsibilities (Vary by position)

• Checking identification at the door prior to entry
• Scanning in and seating customers throughout the club
• Maintain a calm and quiet atmosphere in the crowd while the comedian performs
• Prevent any photos or videos of the show to be taken
• Deescalate difficult situations/customers in a calm and concise manner
• Detail comedian and entourage throughout the club
• Help waitstaff clean up and flip the room in a timely manner after the first show ends

Base hours (may vary slightly depending on show time)

Thursday 6:30pm-10:30pm

Friday 6:00pm-12:30am

Saturday 6:00pm-12:30am

Sunday 5:30pm-10:30pm

Some past experience in a nightclub environment is preferred, as well as good customer relations experience.
