The historic Hotel Congress is looking for a door cashier for concerts and other events throughout our venue, including the Century Room, Club Congress and other areas as needed.
Job Duties include:
- Greet event attendees in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the venue.
- Verify and validate pre-sale tickets using designated ticketing systems or platforms.
- Process on-site ticket sales accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and pricing guidelines.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of ticket sales and revenue collected.
- Provide clear information regarding event details, seating arrangements, and venue policies to guests.
- Coordinate with event organizers, security personnel, and other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Address any ticketing-related inquiries or concerns from guests promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the entrance area, including ticketing booths and surrounding areas.
- Assist in crowd control and queue management during peak entry times.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
