Donor Services Administrator
Job Summary: The Donor Services Administrator supports day-to-day operations of the Development Department. Key duties include:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Performs gift/data entry in the Tessitura database and produces acknowledgement letters in a timely manner.
- Ensures current prospect, renewal, lapsed, and member acknowledgement letter templates are used as needed.
- Serves as backup for generating/sending renewals for all three facets of membership.
- Maintains individual donor notes to individual records in Tessitura, regularly logging notes of interactions with patrons.
- Generates reports from Tessitura database, including but not limited to donor and prospects reports, and mailing lists.
- Assist with and attend donor events.
- Maintains the donor and board files by scanning and filing donor gift documentation.
- Regularly tracks audits and reconciles donations, including in-kind, with the Finance department.
- Maintains and updates written procedures manual.
- Works with Donor Operations Administrator to research and track grants.
- Provides general support for all administrative functions of the development department, including data input and integrity, incoming calls, calendar maintenance, mailings, and other coordinating needs.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and socialize with a wide range of supporters and patrons, including board members and major donors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, donor database software programs, and the use of the Internet are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and use computer.
- Ability to work in an occasionally moderately noisy environment.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
