POSITION SUMMARY
Menlo is a multi-site church in the San Francisco Bay area and a member of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians. The Donor Revenue Accountant is part of our Operations Team and a key member of our Finance Team. The Donor Revenue Accountant manages all the revenue accounting for donors, preschool, and other revenue streams at Menlo Church. The Donor Revenue Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor and collaborates with other members of the Finance Team to ensure all financial and accounting operations run smoothly. The Donor Revenue Accountant works behind the scenes to support all departments, locations, and areas of ministry. At Menlo Church, everyone is welcome, nobody's perfect, and anything's possible.
The Donor Revenue Accountant will bring specialized education, skills, and experience to help Menlo Church accomplish our mission and ensure good stewardship. This professional will have high-level accounting skills including the ability to analyze, balance, and control General Ledger and Accounts Receivable. This position is responsible for the accuracy of donor giving and critical weekly and monthly reporting. The Donor Revenue Accountant will interact with and provide customer service to donors and other stakeholders, so it is important that you are customer service focused and have the communication skills necessary to assist people in person, over the phone, and through written communication. As an integral part of our Finance Team, the Donor Revenue Accountant may also provide backup to the Accounts Payable Accountant and assist with importing and exporting General Ledger accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
- Degree in Accounting or related field, and/or minimum 3-years' relevant professional experience
- Minimum 3-years' experience working in the non-profit sector
- Experience working with cloud-based services to manage data and processes such as Sage Intcct
- Customer service experience
- High level Accounting Skills
- Knowledge of general accounting practices especially related to Accounts Payable
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Proficiency with common office applications and collaboration tools, including Google Workspace, Asana, and cloud platforms
- Ability to process high volumes of work with high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new software and programs
- Stand or sit for prolonged amounts of time
- Walk, bend, twist, and kneel
- Climb up and down stairs
- Finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
