Doggy Daycare Kennel Crew/ Dog Daycare Counselor

Responsibilities:

-Clean and maintain kennels, play areas, and facility
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, providing exercise and mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Feed and administer medications to dogs according to their specific needs
- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure a safe play environment
- Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's behavior and overall well-being
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing payments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience is nice: working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet sitting role, but not required!
- Knowledge of animal care best practices and understanding of dog behavior is helpful but not required- we'll train you!
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently- we'll train for this!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
