Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

We are a small business dedicated to providing excellent service to all of our clients and their pets. We treat all of their pets as we would our own and make sure to give good updates after scheduled visits. This job can potentially be a part time w-2 position or a contract position depending on your availability. We are growing fast and as such your schedule could fill up quick leading to a full time position if that is something you may be interested in.

Pay as a contractor works as follows:
80% of the service base fee will be paid to the contractor including all tips, mileage fees, and parking fees.

e.g.

Service: 30 Minute Walk (1 dog) - $17.60 + (Mileage)+(tips)+(potential parking)

This is what the contractor would make as base 30 minute walks are $22.

Multiple dogs increase your pay as a contractor along with longer walks.

We look for experience with all types and breeds of dogs along with experience with all types of tools.

E.g. : harnesses, prong collars (Pinch collars), loop leads, basic leads, gentle leaders, e-collars and the use of safety clips.

If you do not know what some of these are we recommend you become familiar with them if you are to be interviewed.

I also try giving the best possible pay that I can afford and that I believe is fair and can provide a living. If you are a dog trainer seeking to get some more clients we can help with that as well as we have multiple trainers on board and we meet regularly to come up with ideas to better the business and better ourselves as trainers. However we are balanced trainers and not limited to one form of training as we are firm believers of leadership, accountability, and relationship building with all dogs.

Trainers are paid 85% of service fees when contracted on.
