JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EXPERIENCE - experience with dogs and cats.
• AVAILABILITY - have flexibility to work midday Monday-Friday, some weekends and holidays
• PHONE - smart phone.
• HONESTY - Track-record of integrity. Background check required. Impeccable references.
• RESPONSIBILITY - Reliable, punctual and able to stick to a schedule and communicate with our scheduling staff.
• PROXIMITY - You should live relatively close to your dog walking/pet sitting route.
• COMMITMENT - Can commit to working with us for at least 6 months but most of our employees have been working with us for years.
• CAR - Must have a car or another form of reliable motorized transportation.

DOG WALKER/PET SITTER - La Plata/Port Tobacco Area

About our job. - For starters, it's a great job for pet lovers and people that work well independently. You go to the client's home; you walk their dog. 4 Pets' Sake provides private walks -- these are peaceful walks around a neighborhood - not chaotic "pack walking." You mark your jobs complete using an app on your smart phone. You accept assignments on an as-needed basis based on your availability. We are looking for someone with availability to cover 4-6 dog walks in the Port Tobacco/La Plata area midday Monday-Friday 10am-2pm timeframe for long-term awesome clients and very nice/well-behaved dogs. Availability to do additional pet/cat sitting and more walks is desirable, but not required for this position.

How much money can you make? - Dog walking rates start at $14/for a 30 minute visit and pet sitting rates start at $15 for a 30 minute visit and $22.50 for 60 minute visits. You will be a W-2 employee at 4 Pets' Sake. This is a great job for someone looking for supplemental income. Retired professionals, students and military spouses make some of our best employees.
