General Job Responsibilities:
- Humanly caring for dogs’ and clients’ health and safety while in our care
- Upholding company standards as a brand of balanced Dog Trainers
- Continued education and self-reflection
- Running your own group classes
- Managing your own private lessons
- Caring and training for your own board and train clients
- Driving dogs to different locations or training appointments
- Taking part in social media management
- Inputting client data into computer software
- Managing your own schedule and time appropriately
- Following up with clients and caring about their success in their training programs
- Travel and overnight stays in different locations for education purposes does occur but is not frequent
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dog Trainer is welcomed but it is not required as we do all of our own in-house education to get you started. Previous dog handling experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Your own personal vehicle with a valid driver’s licenses is required
- Your own personal home with a fenced-in backyard is preferred but not required
Compensation:
The compensation for this role in our business is salary and commissioned based. If you are already an experienced Dog Trainer and have passed our entry exam, pay will be negotiated.
Entry level:
$1000/month
15% commission on every program designated to you
With programs completed this can total $4500 a month or more with continued education raises.
