Responsibilities:
- Train dogs using positive reinforcement techniques
- Develop training programs tailored to each dog's needs and behavior
- Teach basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, and come
- Address and correct behavioral issues such as aggression or separation anxiety
- Conduct group training classes and private training sessions
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of training progress and client information

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dog Trainer or in a related field such as kennel, veterinary technician, or animal care
- Knowledge of animal behavior and learning theory
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners and provide clear instructions
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Physical stamina for handling dogs, including heavy lifting and animal restraint if necessary
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with equine or other animals in addition to dogs
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques
