Dog Nanny/Pet Caregiver

Do you love animals? Specifically dogs? Do you want to be paid to play with 8 dogs, collect poop, and feed them in the evenings and weekends? This position is in Hopkinton, MA. We want someone who lives close by. We have an immediate need for a reliable, organized, animal loving person to join our team. You will be on the front line of our company, providing care, exercise, and companionship to our 8 microbiome donor dogs (standard poodles) and 2 Siamese cats, at a private residence. This is a part-time, regularly scheduled position that would be perfect for someone looking to supplement income, in morning and after school or work part time in the evenings. The job description includes feeding, watering, walking, and stool collection & labeling. Diet prep includes light cooking, packaging, and handling raw meat. The homeowner will be home during your visits. COVID-19 vaccination is NOT required but a mask must be worn as the homeowner is immune compromised.

Qualifications:

*Experience at a pet day care, boarding facility, veterinary hospital, or pet sitting service

*Provide leashed and off leash walks at the owners wooded property for 8 Standard Poodles

*Have reliable transportation and possess a cell phone to utilize in an emergency

*Capable of working outside in all weather conditions (heat/humidity, rain, wind, sleet, snow)

*Comfortable being active on your feet – including bending, lifting, walking

*Well organized, dependable, self-motivated with a positive attitude

*Able to maintain control and ensure the safety of all the animals under your watch

*Able to act quickly when needed for the welfare of the animals

*Flexible schedule; work evenings, weekends, and holidays

*Clean criminal background check and clean driving records (criminal/background checks required)

We need someone to do the morning routine from 7:45am-11am on Friday & Saturday, and the evening routine 6pm-8pm Saturday & Sunday. We would love to find one person to cover all shifts but open if you can only do evening or morning shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
