Wage will depend on experience level. The Dog Kennel Agent has a consistent, flexible schedule for full or part-time work and a regular, hourly wage.

Core hours for the boarding kennel are between 7:30am-9pm Sunday- Saturday; shifts are between 4-8 hours.

Job Summary

Motley Zoo Animal Rescue (www.motleyzoo.org) is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation that has been in the local area since 2009 and has rescued and rehomed more than 4,500 animals! While this is mostly dogs and cats, as the name “zoo” implies, we take all kinds (as long as we have resources for them).

Motley Zoo’s crew is committed to ensuring animals are treated like family and valued by more than the number at the bottom of a veterinarian’s bill.

Each animal is unique, with individual needs and potential challenges. Our role is to remove any barriers to adoption and change/ fix what may be standing in the way of them finding a new home- independent of cost. When an animal has a good prognosis and chance for success, we will go the distance!

We are seeking similarly-minded candidates who believe all animals deserve a chance- and who are committed to making that happen both directly and indirectly.

This role involves working with both beloved, owned animals and rescue animals seeking adoptive homes. No matter which aspect you’re focused on at any given time, you’re supporting our animals and overall mission to prevent homelessness, neglect, abuse, unwanted births and subsequent euthanization of healthy, adoptable animals.

>>>This position is to manage MZ Wood’s Creek Kennels boarding program, facility and staff, but also includes oversight of on-site volunteers/ fosters, and scheduling to ensure all animals and people are managed safely, appropriately and efficiently.

>>>Wage depends on experience level.

>>>The Dog Kennel Manager role has a relatively consistent and or flexible schedule and a regular, hourly wage. Some weekends and holidays are required.

>>>Core hours for the boarding kennel are between 7:30am-9pm Sunday- Saturday including holidays. Shifts are between 5-8 hours depending on need.
