Dog Handler

Sniff Dog Hotel is a boutique dog hotel and daycare located in Portland and we are looking for full-time and/or part-time people to join our team!

Our vision for a hotel-type experience is mirrored in the facility - offering full-service dog hotel, daycare, training, grooming, and retail boutique. Our employees hold key roles in revolutionizing the pet care industry with the opportunity to live and work their passion for dogs.

Must have:

• Strong work ethic (responsible, reliable, and punctual)
• Desire to learn more about dog behavior and training
• Prior dog experience preferred with basic understanding of dog body language
• Team oriented
• Strength and stamina to keep up with active dogs of all sizes
• Strong desire to keep things clean

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead private and group dog services
• Supervise our pup guests with care - 10+ dogs in a group setting
• Assist in feeding, changing out water's and giving potty breaks daily to all of our our pup guests
• Uphold a high-level of customer service when interacting with clients
• Always maintaining our high standards for the safety and comfort of all dogs & clients
• Assist in maintaining our squeaky-clean facility.
• Must be able to lift 45 pounds.

• Opportunities for growth into positions with starting pay from $17-$19 per hour & full-time hours (Sniff perks, PTO/Vacation and health insurance are available to full-time employees).

Since we serve our guests 7 days a week 365 days a year, we're hiring only those who can work weekends and major holidays.
