Dog Groomer - Experienced Professional

Shaggy Tails Dog Salon, LLC in Gresham, Oregon is looking to add a Dog Groomer to our team. We are seeking minimum of 2 years experienced as a Dog Groomer to work full time. Applicant should be knowledgeable in all breed cuts, exhibit leadership qualities, and be able to work with the goal to achieve the best possible customer experience. Groomer needs to provide their own grooming tools and we will provide the rest.
Prerequisites:
*Must have reliable transportation all year round
* 2 years Dog grooming experience, minimum Note: Not counting time as a bather
*Must have all your own grooming tools (we provide dryer, shampoo, tub and table)
*Must Be able to lift up to 50 Lbs. comfortably (will have assistance in lifting large sized dogs)
*Must love dogs, and be patient and respectful to all animals and clients
*Ability to work alone and stay on task
*Availability to work Saturdays
*Adapt well with our other employees and become part of our team
*Ability to consistently groom 5-6 dogs a day, depending on breed
*Must be self-starter, reliable and punctual
*Must be detail oriented, patient, careful, responsible, friendly, out-going, and possess EXCELLENT communication skills with clientele and co-workers
*Will be expected to be a team player
*Must be able to handle difficult and old dogs with compassion in a calm and professional manner
*Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday 9 Am To 5 Pm
