Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Dog Walker. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for providing exercise and companionship to dogs in our care. This is a great opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and have a passion for working with dogs. Duties: - Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they get the exercise they need - Provide companionship and playtime for dogs during walks - Follow specific instructions regarding each dog's care, including any dietary restrictions or medical needs - Maintain a safe and controlled environment during walks, ensuring the safety of both the dog and yourself - Clean up after dogs during walks, disposing of waste properly - Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to the appropriate supervisor - Maintain accurate records of each walk, including distance covered and any notable observations Skills: - Previous experience in pet care, such as working in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or as a veterinary assistant - Knowledge of animal care best practices and basic pet first aid - Familiarity with different dog breeds and their specific needs - Ability to handle and restrain dogs of various sizes and temperaments - Basic understanding of dog training techniques and commands - Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately If you are passionate about working with animals and enjoy spending time outdoors, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $16.06 - $17.64 per hour
