SalaryPosition will be a mix between Daycare Attendant and Training Assistant.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are Enrichment Daycare, Tuesday and Thursday are Puppy Day Training.
Job Requirements
- Must have at minimum 1 year of professional dog handling experience (Dog Daycare, boarding, training, etc.).
- Must love and have no fear of dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds
- Applicants should be confident, patient, detail oriented, have good communication and customer service skills.
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn or already have knowledge in dog body language, handling skills, breed knowledge, health and safety information, and more to ensure you are caring for the dogs to the best of your ability.
- Willing to maintain cleanliness of facility for safety and health of all humans and dogs, including poop scooping, laundry, dishes, mopping, vacuuming, and more. Cleaning is a significant part of the job.
- Can pick up and hold at least 50 lbs.
- This is a job where you are on your feet for majority of the day.
Position Details:
Monday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Position pays $16-18/hr depending on experience.
